91 Taurus...unknown tones going off....any body have a clue....

91 Ford Taurus Lx... 3.0 lt auto

I was changing the oil in my step daughters car and when I started it up there were 5 tones a pause 5 tones a pause and 5 more tones... not the normal sounding ones like the ignition makes.... no lights flash... no check engine light ... nothing... I changed the oil and started it up, sames tones.... when I gave it back to her, she said it has been doing this for awhile... 3 sets of five tones then it will wait 20 minutes or so the repeat... anybody have any ideas what is doing this

Thanks
Nasty

It sounds different than the normal tones for low fuel or door open type dings...this is more buzzerish so to speak... and is longer than those tone would be... it is always three sets of five tones...

thanks

sounds like its coming from behind the dash towards the glove box... it is and actual chimed tone ....not just a relay buzzing if that is what you meant....
