92 jeep suspension

i saw another jeep just like mine today (92 wrangler 4X4) and it had the axles switched over to the bottom of the leaf spring which gave it another 3 or 4 inches.
my jeep already has a 4" lift on it, but i was considering doing this to it also.
my question is, is there anything else that i would need besides cutting the saddles off and relocating them to the top and longer brake lines?
and is there anything bad about running it like that?

i do a little off roading every now and then, but nothing too extreme.

thanks Aaron

Your steering arm will need to be longer. And maybe your shocks. Make sure you look at the pinion angle before you do your final welding on your spring perches.

the steering arm is what connects to the pitman arm right? (not quite sure)
could i just weld in some 3/4" stock to make it the correct lenth, or would i need to buy an aftermarket one?

thanks for the reply, Aaron
