92 truck block

heyfolks, been lurking around for awhile finally joined up. I'm getting ready to build my first stroker motor.I've acquired a 92 350 truck block. The block has the threaded studs down the middle of the lifter valley.I'm trying to find out for sure if I can use a roller cam in this block.I have read several articles in Chevy High Performance mag about the GM Performance hot roller cam.I would be using their roller hot cam kit and lifter and retainer kit this is the reason iam trying to find out about the block. The locally chevy dealer parts guy just said "yeah" alot when I asked him about the block nothing really positive.I've looked at some threads on here and heard several different thingsabout the block sort of a maybe, maybe not deal.Right now the block has flat tappet lifters in it and thats all i know I can't get to it right now because my friends shop has collapsed on it due to Katrina. I have many, many more questions to ask. Thought this would be a good place to start. thanks 85 chevy

that should be a roller block. does the front of the cam bore have the retainer plate or the holes for it? you can get the spider & lifters off ebay for cheap.
