'93 Chevy 350CI Distributor

Hey -
I'd like to swap out my stock distributor ('93 350CI V8) for an aftermarket, self-contained (coil-in-cap) dizzi.
The main goal is simplification (eliminate seperate coil) and higher spark voltage (something like the GM HEI dizzi would be perfect).

Is this possible (without spending a fortune)?
Has anyone done this?
Any suggestions?

I did this on my '90 Jeep Wrangler (GM HEI) L6 and love the results.
