93 chevy pickup 4L60E transmission, no 3rd or 4th
My '93 chevy pickup with 4L60 transmission, 4.3 v6, 2wd. The transmission steel feels strong in reverse and first two forward gears when shifts to 3rd actls like nothing there. even when manually shifted. any ideas or is it dead. 200,000 miles just started all at once

Consider yourself lucky, most don't make it to 200K.
3-4 clutches are probably gone & it will require a complete rebuild.

The trans should be a 4L60E. Sounds worn out, 3 - 4clutches gone as mentioned.
