Welcome to Hotrodders.

I edited your thread title from " I need help"... it is better to give us an idea what your "question is" in the title.

Please define :" im wanting to put a good fast rear end " .. Do you want higher road speeds ( lower engine RPM) ..?

Or so you want stronger acceleration?

A 4.3 powered truck may have a lower rear gear than the same truck with a V-8.. You can spin the tires and count the drive shaft rotations to get an idea of the gear ratio.

Camaro will be a 7.5" 10 bolt while the truck has the stronger 8.5" 10 bolt.

No Camaro rear end will fit in a truck without extensive (expensive?) modifications.

Even if you were talking about an older 8.5 inch axle out of a mid to early Camaro, it isn't going to fit without modifications anyway, the spring pads are in different locations, and welded at most likely different angles, as well as the truck axle having either larger brakes or at least wider shoes and drums due to the extra weight.

The newer 7.5 and 7.75 inch axles out of Camaros are just plainly a downgrade in every sense of the word, if you were to go through all the effort of making one fit it just might not last for very long.

The first problem is, define "faster". To some people, "faster" means quicker in the quarter mile. To others, it means higher top speed. The gear ratio needed for these two things is completely different.
