94 350 hesistating

hello, need some advice, i have a 88 gmc truck with a 94 350 tbi installed in it , the engine has a new tbi,the problem im having is just off idle it misses, at higher rpm`s when driving no miss, no miss at idle, it just seems to be when your driving along and you step on the pedal just lightly , it starts missing, any ideas would greatly help, thanks again in advance

Is it missing or is it hesitating, two different things. My thought since you mentioned that the motor has a new TBI would be an issue with induction not fire.

I agree. You probably have a lean spot on initial acceleration causing the hesitation. A little more information would be helpful to us. Is the engine stock, has it done things since the install in the '88, or has this issue just arisen, how do the plugs look, stock ignition system for the '94 or the '88, what condition are the O2 sensors in? Things like that. Thanks

94 350

hello, the truck came with the 94 350 in it, i put the new tbi on it , new base gaskets etc, engine is stock as far as i know , no modifications, no headers or anything like that,,,,i assuming the o2 are good, no codes flashing on the dash, doresnt make a difference if the engine is warm or cold,, still does it,,,,,i dont want to start just replacing all the sensors until it stops, it seems to be in the range just above idle , you can push slightly on the gas pedal above roughly around 1000 rpm and up a little and it hesitates and seems to run rough i say miss but its not backfiring or anything like that, then once above 1800-2000 rpm it smooths out and is fine, just not sure what to do next, thanks again for all your comments and help ,much appreciated
