94 explorer axle are they lim. slip or ?

replacing a bad rear axle under a 94 explorer 4x4 with another one right now here and it will need to be filled with oil

what viscosity oil and are these lim. slip ??

cant seem to find out anything anywhere about these things.. hmm...

Look behind the side gears and see if there is any clutch's.
80/90 will do fine and some additive if you have a L/S.

check the axle tag.. IIRC an L in the ratio will mean it's LS.. so it would read like L373 or L410 but if it's not, It would just read 373 or 410.. some have the numbers spaced out and some don't depending on year so it could read L 3 73

It's usually a good Idea to pull cover and double check especially if your working on 4X4. I've seen many times that the tag on the Differential didn't match what was inside.
