94 jimmy stuffed with a 350 v8 love it

Hey guys, I started a project for my son, Doing a V8 swap on a jimmy. It really is a project. I managed to jump all the obstacles pretty cheap. But one thing I will be coming to is the alternator, I want to be able to plug in an alternator for a V8 with the stock V6 harness. My 94 GMC full size pick up does not have the same plug. Anybody else done this? Any suggestions?

I'd use the alternator from the V6, it should be the good CS-130 style.

Conversion plugs for almost any style alternator are available at many parts stores. you can also try Mad Enterprises www.madelectrical.com
