Post 94 S-10 LT1 with 4L60E conversion

Does anyone know if I need a custom transmission cross member for a 4L60E in a 1994 S10 4x4. Also is it possible to keep 4 wheel drive with a 4L60E. I am planning on trying to run a all wheel drive set up with limited slip front and rear diff.

A 4L60E is a 700R4/4L60 with a CPU controled electronic shift. Same mounts. You will need a 4X4 version to use with a transfer case. The output shaft is too long on a 2wd version. Good luck on finding a posi for a S-10 IFS front end. That I know of, there isn't one made. I did see one of those mini lockers though. Quite harsh for street driving. Made more for rock crawling and such. Dan
