95 Dodge ignition switch problem
My wifes Intrepid wouldn't start, engine would spin fine but wouldn't light.
After a couple attempts fired up just fine. However the ABS check engine and Air bag lights stayed on. She drove the car to work and had no trouble. After work the same thing except the lights didn't stay on. Now it will start fine but as soon as the switch is released it dies. where do i start? |

I would start by looking at a wiring diagram and see if anything is common to the 3 items you mentioned.
Check all the fuses, check to see if the ignition system has power in the run position. Have you checked to see if it has spark when it wont start. It will most likely be missing spark or fuel. Not sure which engine you have but if it is the one with the distributor under the master cylinder, they are troublesome.
