95 YJ rearend

I have a jeep with 33 1/2 tires with a 3 inch lift the gears were mangled when i bought it . My question is the original rearend is 4.10 can i go with another gear ratio to optimize proformance in a 4 cylinder but still be able to play in the mud holes.

You can change the gears to a 4:56 or even a 4:88,but you will also need to change the gears in the front differential to mach the rear.

The YJ's came with a dana 30 front axle and a dana 35 rear axle.
