96 4.3 V6
on my pick up the intake is leaking coolant on the drivers from what i understand this is fairly common thing my dad (works at a local dealer 30 plus years) said they replace quite a few of these on the vortec engines what my question is
is there anything i should do to make this last longer? or prevent it from comming back?

Just make sure you get the new style gaskets and torque them just like the book says and that will take care of the problem. ROY
