96-99 5.7 Vortec question
Are the 96-99 5.7 vortec engines internally or externally balanced? Also what size flexplate comes standard?

Pretty sure external
Not sure about flexplate, all of mine have been marine applications and the all came with the 168 tooth flywheel.
