96 blazer hesitation problem
I have a 96 blazer with a 4.3 engine. The vehicle runs fine till i shut it off for a bit when i get back into it to leave it has a hesitation in the engine as i try to get back up to speed it takes like 10 seconds for it to catch then once its up too speed its fine again. I changed the fuel filter and it actually seems worse now. Only after its been shut off then restarted and it seems as i'm turning a corner it happens. Does this sound like the fuel pump is going i would just like to get some input before changing it. I'm sure its a fuel problem. Thanks

It's a 96 and likely has CPI as a fuel system, the units have a funny way of leaking fuel into the intake/engine. I would look close at the fuel systems pressure and its ability to hold pressure after shut down. It should hold pressure after shut down and or not just drop off. If it does drop off I would be looking for the reason.
