96ss1500 spark plug tips?

hi im a new user to the site here and ive got question. My project is realy my daily driver ive got a 96 c1500 that converted to carb and hei ign. I still run my electric pump in tank through a deadhead regulator with return I run a 750 ss quick fuel mech secondary and accel pro dis. l31 vortec heads 280 dur and 480 lift comp cam 9.5 to 1 compression balanced and blueprinted stock buttom half. I was wondering if anyone else had a setup like this if so what kind power are you makeing and what plugs are you running I had ap606 and they run pretty good but wore out quick so I switched to ngk plats not realy getting the same performance and any copper plug I tryed just wouldnt run so any suggestions would ne greatly helpful ac delcos handle the fuel good but dont have a hot enough fire.
