Your chasing the problem instead of fixing it and when one does this it tends to get expensive fast. All youve said it did was there was a plug wire that failed. How do you know it was the wire if the wire wasnt broken? If it still has the same problem it did from the start then that could mean Either the problem wasn't there to start with or a new wire didn't fix it. For starters do a spark test on that wire and see if its sparking. If the ignition checks out okay then check it good for vacuum leaks. Check on the bottom side of each hose for splits as this is how they hide. If they check okay then next check the MAF sensor. Take a small light screw driver, and use the handle to lightly tap the MAF sensor. If the truck coughs and goes dead the MAF needs replaced. However I should have asked first, what exactly is the truck doing?

You have said nothing about what the symptoms are.You stated a coil wire failed but obviously that was a seperate symptom? or did you just hope that was the problem and in fact fixed NADA.
Need more info, please describe symptoms as best you can.
Those are noted for ignition coil failure.
