You will need to use the front timing cover from a 1996-2000 L29 454, and install the 4x reluctor wheel from an l29 onto the crank of your 402.
That will supply the PCM with its 4x crank sighnal.
Then you will need to use your L29's Vortec distributer as well. This supplys the PCM with a 1x camshafty positions ensor signal as well as distributing high tension voltage to the plugs.
You will need a PCM tune to go from a 454 down to a 402, or from a Vortec 350 L31 up to a 402.
Dont worry, teh Vortec 4.3/305/350 and 454 all use teh saem PCM , just differnt calibrations "flashed" into them.
BBC L29 454 crank position sensor-p/n's-12562910, 12596851, 213946
delco number 2133208 $52.89
Front timing cover $52 12561062
Crank position 4x relcutor wheel 12561024 $6.87
Because the reluctor wheel takes up some space, you will need a Vortec L29 454 damper which is narrower, or machine down the existing damper.
