When I get a used engine or tranny , I Look for a reason not to install it before I wrench on it. If it passes the test in she goes.
I know what you mean about chryslers
, they can be pretty elusive when it comes to correctness on interchange. The late 90s cars are especially bad. Seems they had a few 4 cylinders and a few V 6 engines, and all were different.
If it werent for chevys and chryslers...my tools would rust
