Running a code check is a good first step. I can tell you that throttle body is too big for a mild 318, it is better suited to a highly modified 360 or a 390/408 stroker.
The fuel pressure regulator is part of the pump/filter assembly, it is located inside of the gas tank. Stock pressure is 48lbs +/-, should be plenty of pressure for your engine. I would check the position of the throttle blades, the idle air is supplied by the IAC could be a problem there. The throttle body spacer is not doing you any good, especially if you are running the stock barrel manifold, it already has massive volume. |
