99 f150 2wd 5.4 auto gear shift vibration
my 99 ford f150 has a 5.4 engine and i asume it has a c6 transmission, anyway theres a vibration when the automatic switches gears sometimes. when i checked the driveshaft its got some play in the shaft and the boot on the rear of the tranny is wet with fluid, is this a bearing problem

Your truck most likely has 4R70W
The vibration could be a u joint. A bearing would make noise and be pretty constant, and the frequency would increase with speed. the leak is a seal, if it is at the output of the trans, it may need a tail shaft bushing.
