99 Lincoln Navigator Chassis airbag solid rear
I have a 99 Lincoln Navigator Chassis. I am thinking of keeping for a resto-mod or selling for 1500ish obo
Frame is boxed and seems very straight. It is 4x4 with independent SLA front with air shocks and torsion bars. Rear is a 4 link with a sterling axle. Newer disc brakes, rotors and pads front and rear. This SUV was heading to 6000lb and rated to tow over 8500 lbs so the chassis is heady duty. with air ride and air adjustable front shock/suspension it would be stout and ride great!
Has the steering assembly just needs a shaft and pump hooked up.
I was thinking this would make a great classis truck chassis. I think it is about 67 inches between the outside of the rotors and a 119 inch wheel base. I need more measurements.
Would be awesome on the street with lots of power and an awd transfer case.
I am looking for opinions on what to do with this.. sell or use for a project of my own?
Also please give me idea on what body to put on it! :pimp:
Saw a 4 dor 67 plymouth fury for sale near by for $450. It think it has the right wheel base... Wouldn't have to cut the boxed frame. same drive shafts.. maybe a different Tcase will be similar enough. I think the manual cases were very similar to the auto ones. Then I could pump some serious HP.. all wheel burnouts, and tow 8000+ lbs with a classic fury..
