9in Ford,width of a Mustang diff from flange to flange
What is the width of a Mustang rear axel from flange to flange? Is it the same a Fairlane and Granada? I looking for something close to 56".

Good luck, the closest will be 57-59 Ford/Edsel Station wagon, First Generation Bronco and 77-81 Granada and Versailles. These are 58" flange to flange.

I've never measured one but from what I read on another forum the 70's Maverick V8 9" rear is already 56" from the factory. Might want to check into that.

The biggest rear end in Mavericks was the 8".
