9inch fluid change
Well i was out changing the fluid in my 79 F250 4x4 axles and i thought.. maybe i should change the differential fluid in my cougar. Well its a 70 cougar with a ford 9inch rear end. Obviously its not like the truck's diff. (no cover to unbolt) MY question is how do i change the fluid? I hope i don't have to take out the gear assembly. I know how to fill it (unbolt plug)

 If it doesn't have a drain plug in the bottom of the housing (and most late models didn't) you will either have to loosen/remove the carrier, use a suction gun via the fill hole or drill and tap a NPT thread for a drain plug.
