? about franklin quick changes

hello, i am thinking about buying a quick change rear end for my 55 gasser project, but i do not know what to look for or ask: problem areas, ring gear size, splines on gears & axles. what are important facts or specs to know. i have never messed w/ quick changes just 9" fords. thanks

Many years ago, when I messed with dirt track cars, We had a Franklin Quick Change. ...But that does NOT make me very knowledgeable about what's available today..

Also........as the Moderator, I am going to move this question to the Transmission - Rear End section....
