Post AC advice needed

I wasn't sure if this was 'electrical' or 'interior' so I'm just gonna ask here:

Do any of you have any advice on what companies I can check out to try and get the AC in my 65 Chevy running again?

I've had a world of trouble with this little guy. Cost a lot of money and it still doesn't work.

I've found a ton of companies that have parts for newer cars, or they just have Corvette parts, or they only have stuff for Chevelles, etc. No one seems to have AC parts for a 65 Chevy Caprice/ Impala.

Does any one know of any companies that:

have classic car AC parts,

-or-

maybe they have kits that do away with annoying ancient technology like POA valves --one of the things that has been a BIG problem in my restoration--

I have been searching the web and asking around and I am not having real good luck.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

The one name that comes to mind is Vintage Air. I think that's what its called. Try it.

Greetings my northern friend, the only place I could think of is Impala bobs, if they don't have anything, send them some mail asking if they know any places that carry things like that perhaps? I can't help much, I've never had A/C that worked, I'm air cooled so never needed it. I'll do a search see what I can find if anything, I got a few hours to kill.
