ACCEL spark plug wires Question

I just wanted to know if anybody new the reason that accel has plug wires(8848) that are 4 74-79 sbc, and then another set (8849) for 80-86 sbc......the only difference i can see is the 8848's have 90 deg. plug boots to where the 8849's have the straight plug boot.....Im putting them on my 85 monte carloss and wondered why couldnt i just use the ones with the 90 deg. boots....
Thanks

If I am interpreting your question right, make sure the straight ones dont interfere with your exhaust manifolds or headers. In other words you dont want the wires, touching manifolds...They also may be different lengths.

Hope this helps.....
