Accel Turbo-sonic info

Well I got a Accel Turbo-sonic kit for my hot rods mild engine( Jasper rebuild). I guess these things are good for around a potential 425-450 hp. Any body ever run one?

Have one those, do you have the priorty valve?? Still one of the best after market turbo kits for the SB chev. I ran it until 2 years ago. Still have it in a box, and can"t seem to want to part with it because it works sooo good. 450 to 500 hp with that. Because it's non-charge air cooled you have to really take some timing out of it. I was was going to try water/methanol with nitous but never got around to doing it. The intake charge temps are pretty up there as well. and what size turbine housing does it have?? mine came with a .58 Roto-Master, made boost come in fast, but I'm sure peak power was arounnd 4000, it signed off about there. It a small housing. Its a cool old idea. I put a 850 cfm holley on it and it really like it alot, that was a fun kit!!! It was a very noisy turbo kit, I ran a single 4" straight exhaust with no muffler, It is the craziest sound of the exhaust, sounds like your standing near a jet plane or something. I loved it thought.

66 Turbvelle , do you have ant 1/4 mile times with this unit?
I got mine for $100 off ebay , plus another $100 for shipping from Canada. Seems pretty cheap for 100hp or more. I had a buddy with a Martin system in High school. It was fast , like 155mph and still pulling fast. It sucked off the line , only ran a mid 14 in the quarter but his was missing the water injection unit and I have know idea what his rear gear was. After I get mine going I may try to switch to E85 and crank up the boost. My unit has the priority valve and a .81 turbine housing. This is my spare engine , I also have a roller 383. If my $500 turbo engine runs as good as $5000 383... well I don't know if I'd laugh or cry. I'm putting the turbo motor in my car so I can drive it to work this summer. I can't get away with starting the NA 383 at 5:30am for long.

turbo-sonic

I just picked up one of these off eBay cause I like the old school tech, but I don't have a clue about how this thing is plumbed. Does anyone out there have any paperwork or information on this set-up?
