Acrylic Enamel
I've been reading posts about Acrylic Enamel vs. bc/cc and some poor guy is getting the run around. One good thing to remember is that if you use acrylic enamel what you spray is what you get, period. There is no sanding out nibs with 1200/wet, if you do you will ruin the finish. Acrylic enamel oxidizes during the gas-off period and creates the gloss finish. If a hardener is used it will appear 'dry' but 30-days are generally the dry time for cure. And 90 days before any polish. I just sprayed my 1970 Falcon with acrylic enamel and I've got the drips on my shoes to prove it....
Be good to yourself and get the book 'How to paint your car' -tzrecordz |
