acrylic enamel help

Does anyone know if there is a good adhesion promoter for single stage acrylic enamel? I got my hands on some single stage, and would like to paint all the plastic on my chevy avalanche. I have years of experience with lacquers, I have always used Bulldog, and have never had chips or peeling not even on bumpers, it always sticks to plastic, I never use a primer with plastic just adhesion promoter and it has never failed, but I read on the bulldog website that it is not compatible with enamels. I usually buy bulldog by the gallon and spray it with my gun. This is going to be my first time to use an enamel paint and I really want it to stick to the plastic, Thanks for any tips or advice...

I think they are talking about stirring it into the enamel, if you are using it in the conventional way, it should work. Not only that, I think they may be talking about a different kind of enamel, like old synthetics. Why don't you find something to use as a test panel, spray a little and see how it goes. Do you have a small can of hardener for the AE? It will work much better with it.
