Acrylic gas tank
I just painted my motorcycle with acrylic paint. Put on a couple of coats waited for the paint to harden (i did use hardener) then I wet sanded it. After I wet sanded I was talking to a painter he said I didn't need to wet sand because the clearcoat was mixed in. Anyway so I sprayed it one more time waited for it to dry. I started to buff it and came out dull. Not sure what to do fro here I don't want o spray again. Anyone have any ideas?

When you say acrylic, I assume you mean acrylic enamel with
hardener added? My guess is that the paint wasn't fully cured
when you started buffing and is still soft.

Even with hardener, acrylic enamel dosen't cure as fast as
the urethanes. Try waiting a week or two and buff it again;
the gloss should come back.
