Acrylic would work, but it is heavier and forms at 350 degrees. PVC foamboard is a far better choice and forms at a much lower temperature. The price is good, I pay $28 for a sheet of foamboard, which is what your cost would be on the acrylic.
How about A&C Plastic products, and Colorado Plastic Products, both in Colorado Springs?
