I am interested in adding a choke to a holley 600 double pumper (used), which i got a good deal on. This is replacing a holley 1850(not original) on a 65 corvette in which the previous owner put the metering plate in a vice creating a really nice vacuum leak. What i want to do is take the choke from the old one to the new one. After looking at it, all the parts will fit but this new carb has never had a choke. So the vacuum line in the body was plugged at the factory. My question is... can you drill through the plug in the throttle body and open up the line? or is the line even there?
