Adding an oil temp gauge to SBC - how to?

Hi all - I'd like to add this type of oil temp gauge to my SBC.

temp gauge

Is there a place on a SBC to put a temp sensor/sender?

If so, where is it, and what are the thread specs?

thanks!

Why? If you must, weld a collar in the oil pan sump to screw the sender into.
