Question Advice on manuals/books for husband

My husband recent bought a 1948 Chevy delivery van. Right now he's finishing up rebuilding a 1965 Mustang so he hasn't started work on the van. I know that he uses a manual for the Mustang and it's been helpful with the various parts finding and mechanical stuff. (Sorry, I don't know the right terminology for car things.) Is there a manual or some kind of book that would have good information on the van? All I can find online appears to deal with only chevy cars or trucks of that era and I don't know which would be more likely to be appropriate. I'd like to surprise him with the gift.

Thanks for any information.

Little more definition

Is this vehicle a sedan delivery, which is like a station wagon with no windows, or is it a panel truck, being like a pick up with a back on it?
If it is the truck thing, there are many outfits outthere that supply parts. The Truck Shop, Golden State Pick-ups, Dixie Trucks

Others are Obsolete Chevrolet, or the Filling Station

That should be a start

Also, hook him up with this site. it even has one or two Ford people that can help with Mustangs

It looks like a very large station wagon without windows on the sides (except for the front seat). Does this mean that it has more in common with Chevy cars of the era?

Thanks for the ideas.

Chevyduty.com has books at their website also. I received some for my 66 C10.

You have a sedan delivery, not a panel truck. This being said, you want to hook up with more car people than truck people. do a search on year, model and make of sedan delivery.

Get him on this site and he'll find all he needs
