I have been trying to get a comparison on these for a while, and still no dice;

(SATA SAT92xxx series or the DeVilbiss GFG670 , both of these are the new Reduced pressure series)

I think I have read other opinions on the new DeVilbiss, but absolutely no direct comparison anywhere between these two.

Sata 92 is an old has been gun! Thats why no ones compared anything to it. It came out in 1992. Things change.

Must be a misunderstanding or they RE-used a number. This is the BRAND NEW Sata Reduced Pressure gun with digital readout in handle. This gun came out just this year. Here is a full reference number and description, this gun is new from SATA:

SATA - SAT92106- SATAJET RP DIGITAL 2 1.3 PAINT SPRAY GUN W/1L ALUM CUP

I probably needed to use the full number to explain. The other numbers are 92098 and 92086-1. These are the same gun, just specifying a differnt tip size.

Sata RP.
Now your talking a real gun if you can afford it, if not go second best. This has all been covered in above posts. Its what you want to spend and how good you are of a painter.
I want no peel and I only spray high solids clears so I cant use the D-gun. A lot of people do and it works for them.

Comparison, its like comparing a Yugo, Chev, Ford to a Mercedes
They all perform at what they are suppose to do but its all how you look when you arrive!

Hey, I have been out of painting for around two years. The last gun I used was a Sata NR95. I'm looking in to buying the new Sata RP. Is the new RP worth buying, or should I go with the NR95 again? Do you need 1/2 or 3/8 airline for the RP?

I've read all the threads relating to HVLP guns and decided to try the Harbor Freight #43430. Used it last night and it worked great. I shot bc/cc (White) on the shop truck dually fender-need to colorsand to get the orange peel but overall it came out great.
