Advice? suggestions? 496 BBC build

Hey, building yet another BBC, this one is street/strip oriented destined for a full weight 72 chevelle.

454 block .060 4.310" bore. probe SRS mid dome forged pistons 6.385" rod
Scat 4340 4.250" stroke crank
Scat 4340 H-beams 6.385"
The cam is a comp cams solid roller 288/296 254/262@.050 .714/.714 108*

Now this is where it gets interesting, the heads I have are Canfield 355"s
2.30x1.88 113cc CNC chambers. with the Probe SRS pistons the CR should be 10.5:1
I E
.100 82 74
.200 176 123
.300 250 175
.400 313 213
.500 350 256
.600 367 284
.700 376 309
.800 380 320

I was going with the 310cc versions but looking at the flow number's the 355's have very good low to mid lift flow numbers, much better than the smaller runner version so this had me thinking to go with the large runner heads with a smaller cam.

the headers are jet hot coated 2" longtubes. 3" exhaust
the intake is a victor JR and a 1050 dommy 2" spacer

the rear gear is 4.10 with 28" tall tires
the tranny is a th375 with a ATI 3600-3800 stall
I think the car will weigh in around 3600LBS.

ADVICE? SUGGESTIONS? are welcome

thanks, 2wld4u

That increased low lift flow isn't worth spit with a fast moving cam lobe and an engine that can't move enough air to use the extra volume. In other words, it'll be a dog until 5000 and the cam will fall off about 7000.

The car will be quicker, faster and more fun to drive with smaller heads.
