Afi Paint Quality?

Just wondering if anyone has an oppinion on AFI paints. I am getting ready to have my 1938 chevrolet coupe painted, and the painter mentioned that he likes AFI paints but I have never heard of that brand before. Please let me know what you think. Thanks much!

AFI stands for automotive fleet and Industrial supply. It has been in business 7 years. If it's any good I have no idea, but it leads me to think that the painter gets it at a good price, and you pay a real good price. Did he tell you how much the paint was, and how much for the paint job. You can go on line to get the price. Maybe now that I have posted on here, someone like Shine or NI or MARTINSR. can answer they know more about paint than I.

LOL I didn't think you would beat around the bush, I would have said the same, but had never heard of it.

It's not a brand, it's a supplier. You'll have to query your painter on what brands they carry and which he intends to use.

The one site I looked at showed a can of AFI paint, or what looked like paint, I don't know.
