after market door fit.

I have an aftermarket passenger door that I'm trying to fit on my 59 Chevy Apache. The bottom of the door is not straight as the front end dips down. This makes it too close to the rocker for the correct gap. It is also too tight to the front fender on the bottom 4 inches.

Solutions: Will all the aftermarket doors be the same? Should I grind down that area, reweld. I know that these doors are thin in this area and the skin will probably separate. Will I be causing more problems?

Thanks for your help

aftermarket doors almost always provide a poor fit... you'll just have to fit them/ mod them to fit.
