After- market gauge wiring question

I know nothing - and can't find an answer so I ask....
My after-market gauges have very small gauge wires. What happens if I use a larger gauge wire ?

THANKS

smaller gauge wires are used when the current draw is small. Using a karger gauge wire will still carry the smaller current. Hope this answers your ?.

It will work fine with larger gauge wires.
