Aftermarket Block Big Block Chevy

Do you know which one is the best bang for the buck between World Merlin and GM Bowtie or other....

I can definately say it depends on what you are doing. If you're building a motor for the street, just go for a standard casting from GM. If you're trying to build a full-tilt dragster, get a world products block.

Well, it does matter what u r going to do with the engine,but ive used the merlin 2 blocks for both the 540 and 555 and have never had any prob with bearings or longevity as both can go most of the season without reringing or changing bearings.
The bores seem to stay straight also and always have 1 to 3% leak.
