Aftermarket gear idenification

I know zero about gears or idenificating them so i will put it all on here. on theend of the pinion gear theres a 3 C. in the mkddle it says k 41xl1

outside of the ring is 125944 and upside down 90 ?lxl7 . They are made of steel.

I can get more pics if needed? I bought everything pictured for 75 was it worth it? Plus i bought a 2 series carrier posi for my nova and i am using a motive ring spacer should i have anyproblems if i am putting 370 to the ground and dont have slicks or radials but i am also doing either traction bars or something like ladders

What is it that you want to know about the gears? Looks to me like it's a 8.5 10 bolt gear. Is it new or used? If it's new then it's well worth $75, but if it's used then it's questionable because you don't know if they were set up right the first time. If they were set up wrong then they will have a bad wear pattern to them and might make noise.

A ring gear spacer is not a good idea. There are too many problems that go along with them. I've seen many gears ruined from using a spacer. If it's the best that you can do then go with it. Maybe it will work out for you.

They are used but the pattern looks good, they have some miles but they were set right in the rear end. I was just wondering if you knew the brand and if theres a way i can positive match these to be sure it a 8.5, The spacer will have to work as it is my only way to get both wheels to spin. Its a one year fix i am building a ford nine inch with a 390 gear that will go in the nova for good. Plus as long as i dont put 400 hp down and also no slicks

Looks like 8.5", maybe stock GM factory take out's?? Somebody putting 4.56's in a mid 80's 4x4 would be taking these out?? My '84 1/2 ton has two sets from the factory

I'd use ARP ring gear bolts with the spacer if you can.

Should work as long as you know it is a 1 year fix, it could last longer but don't expect it to last forever, especially if you abuse it.

Measure the diameter of the gear. It should be close to 8 1/2 inches and it should have 10 bolt holes for 7/16 bolts and left hand threads. It looks like a Yukon gear. Only after market gears have the extra sholder for the speed sensor reluctor ring, so this wouldn't be a GM truck gear. If it was a GM gear it woudl be marked that way.
