I've never replaced airbags myself, but I did find this site that may help. Here's a mixed set on EBay to give you an idea. Hopefully you don't have a hospital bill to go along with the costs! Be thankful if she wasn't hurt and didn't cause other damage or hurt anyone else! Parts can be replaced.

Airbags are expensive, here they cost between one and three thousand dollars,a lot of older cars ar written off by insurance companies because the cost of replacing the bag is more than the car is worth.

It,s hard to find used ones as most of the ones wrecked have had them deloyed and not re-usable,not in canada anyway.

The air bags are so expensive that thet are stolen from vehicles. They are a quick seller in the hot car parts market.

You have to be super careful when installing them.

With anything that is a safety item ie: brakes, steering and especially air bags I would have them professionally installed. There are too many things that could go wrong (Murphy is always there to screw things up) by installing them yourself. Life is too precious to take a chance, unless you have experience in their installation.

air bag replacement
I have been buying air bags on ebay for my rebuilds, there is usually quite a selection for most common vehicles, and at greatly varying prices. I bought a set of bags and a module(you will probably need a module, and at least one sensor)for my 98 ranger about 4 years ago for around $400. I install them myself and then take the vehicle to the dealer to get plugged in to their computer to make sure everything is operating correctly.
