Air bag / exhaust heat

This is my first car with air suspension and I am a bit concerned about exhaust heat damaging the rear bags. The clearance is about three inches from the pipe to the bag. I wouldn't be as concerned if this car wasn't turbocharged as the exhaust might not be as hot. The pipes will be ceramic coated when finished so, that may help some. Do you guys think a heat shield between the bag and pipe would be necessary?

I would put a heat shield on the exhaust leaving 0.5" or more between the exhaust and the heat shield. Weld it on and have it coated with the exhaust.

Edit: you also should put some heat shielding on the fuel lines.

i would be more worried about the fuel lines. the bags, i bet there would be no problems. as was said, a simple shield would not hurt, and would not be ugly.
