Air Bag Mounts

This may be a silly question. I just got my new control arms, air bags and bag mounts for my front suspension of my '50 Chev truck. Think I'm almost ready to go.

Question is, "When replacing the coil springs with the bag mounts, should I install new coil spring isolators between the bag mount and the coil spring hat?" Installing the mounts "metal-to-metal" just doesn't seem right to me.

Will stock spring isolators work in this situation?

Thanks in advance,

H2os50

bags

H2Os50 what type of air ride system did you purchase? I have Air Ride Tech's kit on my 66 Impala. I have no issues with the front upper bag mounts that go into the spring cup . That do not move once everthing is tight...

I bought control arms, bags and bag mounts from AIM Industries. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't forgetting something.

Thanks,
