Have you had a look at this <a href="http://www.srsairbags.com/information.shtml" target="_blank">web page</a>?

These guys are the experts, I think you'll find that most rodders would rather wear a 5 point harness and get real protection rather than mess with an explosive device only inches from your face. Come to think of it why do we need these death charges in our steering wheels again?

Oh right?! safety...I remember now. I guess watching guys walk away from 200 mph crashes with nothing more than a headache in Nascar made too much sense to the engineers. You know they should make parachute bags! You could jump out of an airplane and at the last second have a bag deploy and blow up and stop your fall, hey! if the auto industry can do it why not us?

Where the heck is my tinfoil helmet...they are sure to be monitoring this thought.

talk to air ride i think is the name of the company. me and my dad are building a 53 chevy pickup and we are gonna have air ride in the back with the triangulated 4 link setup i believe. i have ridden in a friends car that had "bags" and it was like a ride in a boat i guess you could say. but depending on the other suspension you have it might be different. later

hey CHUCK one of these articles here says 92% of people in Canada wear their seat belts... yeah right!!! WE both know that is far from true... I think maybe 92% don't all the time and 40% never do unless there is a cop
