Air Compressor

Whats up everyone, I was just wondering if any body here has or has used a gas powered air compressor? I was thinking about getting one due to the fact of the inavailability of electrical service. And if anyone has recommendations on a particular make and or model. I was looking around a bit and saw a few. Hope to hear from some of you, Thank you.

qctech- Ingersoll Rand ,IMO, is by far the best buy out there in gas powered compressors. Quincy is also an extremely good outfit but the Ingersoll is usually a little cheaper. The Ingersoll can be found at Sears and many other places so parts availability is no problem but if you do go to Sears don't even look at that Craftsman gas unit because even though it is cheap and has a fairly decent Honda engine overall it is a piece of junk and I do mean JUNK! Operating cost is about the biggest concern with gas units because they are expen$ive to run so don't even consider any gas unit with a single stage pump since they are very inefficient and while this is only a minor problem on electric units it will absolutely break you up in fuel costs on a gas powered compressor With todays gas prices you will make up for the extra cost of the two stage unit in VERY short order even with limited use and if you intend to use it a lot you will save a bundle in the long run.
