when i bought my compressor in 83 the man who builds them told me to change the oil at least every 90 days. oils cheap and i do it about once every 60 days. 7 years ago i had the pump rebuilt while we built our new building. it was working fine when i tore it down. changing oil works. so does blowing out your electric motor every morning.
