Air Compressor Pump just sitting in the garage.

Hi everyone

My dad has had this compressor laying around in the garage and me being into painting and bodywork on cars im wanting to use it.
I just don't know much about it.

Im hoping someone here will help me in identifying this compressor.

My dad says his uncle got it from a auto-body company that went out of business and that it can take a 7.5 hp motor. Im trying to find out how much cfm and stuff it has.

Anyone know where I can go to identify a compressor.

Here are some pics.

In that pic the numbers are 0460

That one says 3 F

Then the last one says 7-92 G.

Does anyone have a rough idea of where I can go to find the specifics on this baby?
Im sorry if this is stupid to post on this forum but it never hurts to ask.

I can't give you any specific details but, with that large drive pulley/fan, it looks to be an industrial grade unit. If your dad was right about 7 HP, it would likely be in the neighborhood of 20 CFM
and would last a long time. My best guess would be that it would run at least one DA all day long.
