Air compressors

Hi was wondering if anyone can tell me is there an advantage to buying a compressor that stands up with the compressor on top of its tank vs the air compressor air tank that lays on its side with the compressor on it if the compressor units are the same size?

yep, assuming there rated the same, with the same amp motor and motor type, just floorspace.
